People often regard prayer as an escape from our senses, a switching off of the flow of perceptions that set our minds and bodies into motion. Yet Ignatian Spirituality embraces our senses as avenues of God's self-communication to us, and of our engagement with God. This prayer workshop will be a guided meditation that uses our imagination to activate our senses in order to "enter into" the Gospel and let the Holy Spirit guide the events and graces of the prayer. Newcomers and inquirers into Ignatian Spirituality as well as those long experienced will equally feel at home in this workshop.
