Please join the Jesuit Community of San Francisco and the communities of the five Jesuit ministries in San Francisco (St. Agnes Parish, St. Ignatius Parish, St. Ignatius College Prep, the Ignatian Spiritual Life Center, and the University of San Francisco) as we gather to pray in thanksgiving for the life and ministry of our beloved Pope Francis and commend him to the loving mercy of God. The Mass of Resurrection for Pope Francis will be at 5:30 pm, Friday, April 25, in St. Ignatius Church. Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.

You are warmly invited to learn about the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life, the 19th Annotation Retreat on Sunday, April 27 in the Berman room of Fromm Hall following the 10 am Mass. Saint Ignatius designed the Spiritual Exercises as a retreat to help people deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in the inner freedom they need to discern where God is truly calling them. Come and start discerning if now is the right time for you to experience the 19th Annotation.

The St. Agnes LGBTQ Ministry will host LGBTQ Faith Sharing the 4th Sunday of every month. Come for an evening of prayer and community-building. All are welcome! PS -- Be sure to check the location of each meeting -- we will meet at the ISLC most months, and in the St Francis Room if there is another event in the ISLC!

Every two months, spiritual directors that are connected with the ISLC come together, to get to know each other, share experiences, support each other, and also learn from each other to grow this ministry further at ISLC. Are you a spiritual director new to the area? You are invited to join!!

What does hope look like today? How do we find light in dark and difficult times, including adverse political times and times of transition? One possible answer is to reclaim our traditions! This presentation will explore how we can find refuge in our queer and Latinx Christian traditions to craft a message of hope. The facilitator will interweave personal narrative, theological insight, and practical advice for how people and communities can navigate difficulty and grow together in communion with God. This journey often involves introspection, discernment, and external public activism.
