EVENT SERIES VOLUNTEERS
The ISLC brings together community and engaged spirituality in public events two to four times a month. We create opportunities for deepening our faith through talks, retreats, and concerts that explore the Jesuit tradition in its cultural diversity, the profound spiritual life of the lay people around us, and the religious expressions of other faiths, and we’re always looking for people to come out once or twice a month to assist.
Volunteers can help during the events themselves by arranging the space at the ISLC, welcoming guests as they arrive, and putting everything back in place after the event.
HOSPITALITY
Do you enjoy creating an inviting table with food and beverages, particularly on someone else’s dime? Hospitality volunteers purchase and deliver refreshments for events, to be reimbursed by the ISLC.
GIFT YOUR SKILLS
Running the ISLC takes more talents than any one person can offer, and we invite you to “gift your skills” as well. Think of it as a way of offering your expertise when you want to, for however long you want to.
In short, there is wide range of work to be done and always a need for helpful hands. If you have an itch to help out, contact us and we will happily work with you to find projects that suit your interests and schedule.
